Conflating Christmas and New Year is deeply Soviet, but the text is written in Ukrainian. The imagery is entirely Catholic, although most people sharing things like this are nominally Orthodox.

I’ll get stuff like this from completely secular people. Opening Viber this time of year will yield many of these sorts of things from people I barely know.

As much as I hate the whole Soviet New Year thing, there’s something special about it.
